Thank you for contacting FixYa

I am not as experienced in the clock side of Seiko, but I did find their website and it is filled with great recommendations for clock repair. I would highly recommend you contact Seiko on this.

How do i open this thing? pry off or screw off? seiko womens 100m.

I have no ideal. All i know is that it is a Seiko womans watch and Seiko has numerous types of backs on them!! If it has 6 notches on the back, then yes, it is a screw off and it takes a special tool to open the back. Please take to a local jeweler who sells SEIKO to have the battery replaced.

I have a Melodies in Motion Seiko clock that is about four years old. It still keeps great time. However the face movement sticks about half-way through it's movement. Any idea of how to repair the problem...

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like 1 or both hands are hanging up on themselves or something on the face of your watch, look for a small watch repair shop in your area, or check here at fixya, bottom of page, click on repair service directory the watches.

How to change the hour

Anniversary clock hands can be adjusted directly moving the minute hand clockwise. Do not touch hour hand as this may cause hand disalignment. Carefully move minutes hand with your finger all the way around till you reach desired time.

Do not forget to rate, please.

My seiko s149 with built in printer went blank the other day.

The S149 has 2 sets of batteries

1) 4 X AA for the printer
2) a round "button battery inside the unit for the clock.

Open up the unit, you will see that it takes either a 2450 or a 2032 depending on the model.

I have a seiko flight watch, unknown of the model, second hand doesn't reset

I guess the blue faced SEIKO is a Flightmaster (Model: 7T92- OCFO)and it is a great watch. This is a common problem with most chronographs and this happens due to misalignment with usage.

All you need to do is pull out the locking crown all the way out (2nd Step) as if setting time. and then press and hold the top / left button and at first the milli seconds hand resets. after which you have to press the borrom / right button to move the seconds hand in to place. and then reset the time and lock the crown. You can repeat this for Milli Seconds, Seconds, Minutes & hours hands.
Hope this helps,
Krishna Chaitanya GT.
