YM makeover magic

EVERYTIME i try to install YM makeover magic, it says it doesn't support Windows NT! what is Windows NT? what can i do to fix it? PLEASE REPLY!

In Xp go to Help & suppor and serch software compatibility wizard there are run the program option start this and next it will ask peevious this program compatiblewith click on window 98 and proceed further you can install this .

Windows nt is a operating system some software works only with windows 98or only with windows 2000or only with windows xp/nt windows nt is the same as xp i think the software ym makeover magic works windows nt platform you should have the operating system in which the ym makeover magic works to know which operating syatem works just see some readme files in setup files folders of the ym make over magic there will be file stating readme in that they will give operating system comapatiblity windows 98/2000/server 2003/xp/media center /vista they will specify like this see the compatiblity and then install the operating systm and then install the software

Hi, you maybe just need a driver for the mainboard.

You can download here:

Try the chipset driver first.
Please unzip the file before installation.
You maybe also need the driver for the usb controller.

Try to use a PS/2 mouse until the driver is installed.

May I know what Operating System you are using??
Usually what you need to do is go to
Control Panel >> System and Security >> Under Windows Firewall >> Allow a program through windows firewall / allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall >> There you can change the program setting (the ones with checkboxes)

Find yahoo messenger and make sure you allow it on your network (private or public).

That is how you do in Windows 7.

My Yahoo Messenger hangs then it would say (not responding...). What can i do to fix this? Help me please?
Few sugesstions :

1) Check whether if your windows is installing new updates, sometimes YM does crash when window is updating. If you are using Win7, then just go to: --> Control panel/ System & security/ Windows Update/ Change setting. In the setting panel, you will see " Important Updates " box selection. Change it to "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download & install them". Restart your pc/laptop, then try log in to your YM.

2) *This step won't be necessary but won't do any harm too, go to: Control Panel --> System & Security --> System --> Advance System Settings. In the " Advance " tab, click "setting" at the " performance " column. Select " Data Execution Prevention ", select " Turn on DEP for all programs & services except those i select", Insert your YahooMessenger.exe (C:/Program Files/Yahoo!/Messenger/YahooMessenger) into the add list. Restart PC/laptop & try to log in to YM.
3) If those won't work, uninstall your current YM, restart your pc/laptop, then try installing a new one. ym installation is using internet connection, if your internet connection is poor you will not succes to install ym, and for you know that ym 11 was launched, try use ym 11 may it work

Everytime i sign in to my YM(yahoo messenger) it only works for 5 seconds then after that this is the msg. that i got Yahoo! messenger has stop working. A problem caused the program to stopworking...
Do a thourough scan on your PC for virus, spywares, etc....with your security programs (update the security database first before scaning) and remove any "dangerous or unwanted programs" that might be installed on your PC without your knowledge. After the clean up, then,

You can update your Windows thru' Windows Updates, uninstall YM and download the latest YM version, @ http://messenger.yahoo.com/ and reinstall YM.

My OS is XP Pro SP2. I have an A4 Tech PK635M webcam and it freezes everytime I use it with my YM. I still have the original cd installer but unable to reinstall it. I can't remove it through add/ remove...
check in run -> msconfig -> startup
and then check if the camera start with your windows if it does remove the V from it if it dont start try to reinstall it.
check if your YM support your cam
