I was just listening to an audibook I loaded onto my 660 and the nuvi locked up suddenly and now is frozen with the screen on. the touch screen does not work and the power button has no impact. any advice? also, does resetting the nuvi erase anything saved on the unit (ie maps, audio books, favorite lists, etc.)? Thanks!
Resetting the device merely resets the power connection, on some devices there is a reset to manufacturer defaults on settings, but not your stored data. Working with GPS's 40 hours a week I constantly have to use the reset button when they lock up. Just press it in for a few seconds then if it doesn't power back up just hit the power button and everything should be fine.
