The above links for manual do not work, the only thing I found was a parts list, in the "owners manual"...

I think the pre-adjust settings are to turn jets in all the way and back out 1.5 turns each. then:

You will find a Low and High adjustment screw. At idle turn the screw in or clockwise until the rps starts to decrease. Then start turning it out till you hit max idle rpms. Turn screw back in a quarter to half turn and it should be idling smoothly. Be careful here and get someone to hold saw if necessary but hold in throttle to full speed and do the same with high adjustment screw. turn it in till rpm starts to drop then back it out until you get to max rpm and it won't go any higher then turn it back in a half a turn.

I asked how to replace the chain on a McCulloch Mac 110. The answer I got was remove bolts on cover. NO VISIBLE BOLTS!

that's a good old McCulloch 110 chainsaw... and
YOUR picture shows the NUT ... (also the one directly above)
Big as LIFE & twice as natural.

Every TREE-MAN I've ever known had the BAR wrench
BEFORE they climbed a tree... (+see below)

Mine are Stihl... 020.

Before that I had a baby SEARS... (really a Homelite).

RIGHT there in he picture you took...
Directly in line with the slot in the chain BAR is one "NUT"

AND an equal sized NUT on the end of the HANDLE

Get the book... or hire out the job if you are UNSURE... That saw is quite precious... simple & valuable.

Seriously!!
