Check for bad solder on convergence module. May have bad stk's. Do not neglect looking for bad solder on dsignal and defl boards. Mitsubishi is very prone to bad solder.

Try to unplug set and try it again as if the set was unplugged and then the self check done it will be 1,2 which means NO ERROR detected.

Let me know also what the set does?

Hi,

Actually no just need to HANDLE WITH CARE and make sure you protect the screen,you can cut a piece of cardboard same size of you screen to protected from any object,you TV has mirrors inside just be careful,other then that you will be OK.

TRake the fron grill off and the front board 6- screws on my 65inch there are three adjustment knobs one of them wil adjust the huge
one the whole screen,if not that,I have heard mold growing on and the inside of the blue bulb because it runs the coolest out of the three.

The set is going into shutdown because a problem has been detected inside. This prevents further damage. It could be anything from a shorted horizontal output transistor to a defective convergence IC. Without examining the board and taking measurements inside, it will be difficult to near impossible to diagnose this remotely. I would suggest that you invest in a detailed repair estimate that shouldn't cost more than $100 and report the results here. With that info, we should be able to walk you through the actual repair.
