N70 no power
Hi,
If the lights up you can try formatting the Nokia.
If you have any files that are important to you, make backups.
1. Make sure you phone is fully charged.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).
3. Switch-off your phone.
4. Press and hold these three keys together
-Green dial key,
-Star key (*)
-Three key (3)
then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone.
DO NOT let go the three keys until you see the “formatting” screen displayed
5. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your phone will now be at its original factory settings.

the phone lights up but no start up tone or menue
The main power switch can put on and off the unit, the lights and LCD's are on, but no display.
Tried to reset the unit by putting Off and On the power switch, also by removing the batteries then replacing it back- it did not solve the problem.
I tried using a new set of battery pck, no improvement.
I changed SIM, but same did not solve the problem.
I brought it to a Service Center, and a technician told me the LCD has to be replaced.
I sought another service center's advice, and they told me the ribbon wire has to be replaced, not the LCD.
Please help.
