Fills cold and warm but not hot

This is a common problem with hot water lines to washing machines. The hose connecting the washing machine to the hot water supply has a small screen in the inlet of the hose. These are used to keep grit, etc from getting into the washing machine and causing bigger problems.
Here's what to do:
Pull the washing machine away from the wall a little so you can access the shut-off's. Turn off the hot and the cold water valves.
Take the hot water hose off the valve and check the screen in the rubber washer of the inlet hose. Replacement screen/washers are available at local hardware stores for a couple bucks.
You can clean the old ones, just be careful not to damage the rubber washer because that's what keeps your hose from leaking when you reinstall it on your faucet.
While you're at it, clean the cold water screen as well.
REcheck your fill on a hot cycle... you've most likely solved your issue!

My new estate washer with 4 water selections actually only has 2, hot and cold. The warm water setting fills with lukewarm water for a while then shoots in cold water for a while and back and forth. In the...

Yes, this is normal. All newer washer have auto temp control fills. This is to meet energy saving requirements. The less hot water used the more energy saved. Most hot settings on washers give out basically lukewarm water. The detergent made today is made to work well with cooler temperature water, so things will still come out clean.

My kemore 80 series washer will not fill up

Check to see if there's good water volume coming through the hoses attached to the washing machine. If there is, check to see if the screens inside the water-inlet valve are clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If they're clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, you should completely replace the valve.
------------------------
The water-level switch regulates your washer's fill volume. This switch is usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. If the switch is defective, it may prematurely signal the water to shut off. If so, you probably need to replace the water-level switch.

Washer will not fill when you select cold water

Q - My washer will not fill with cold water
A - More often than not, this is a bad fill valve. Please see the filling section.
There's no cold water Some washing machines allow cold water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally.

If you're sure the machine is not working the way it used to--or should--check the following.

  • Is the cold water turned on? If not, turn it on.

  • Is the washer getting hot water but no cold water? If so, check to see if the control panel settings are correct.

  • Is there cold water coming through the proper hose? If not, check to see if the screen inside the water-inlet valve is clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If it's clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, you need to replace the valve.

Cold water will not stop filling during rinse

while the unit is filling in the warm cycle. reach behind and shut off the hot water tap.I bet the water flow stops filling, if so, you would need to change the inlet valve on the machine. You see, in warm, if the cold is not filling, you still hear the hot filling and the unit will advance. The rinse cycles are mostly "cold" only. if the valve is not opening it will not allow it to advance from the rinse section on the board.

Good luck!
