Our Chef Sapphire Clock & Oven stopped working suddenly after a power failure overnight. Are there any fuses to be found inside, or any other suggestions please. The stove top is fine and all 4 elements are OK, so am a liitle perplexed by this. I help on Fixya fir Sewing Machine repairs, just no experience with white goods.

This oven needs the time set after a power failure. The LED display will read HELPME and there is a small knob on the left side you need to turn it to set to change the time and use the second knob from left side to + and once done leave the knob on manual. The oven can be timed to turn off but it the time is not set on it the oven and stove do not work. Our Chef Sapphire Clock & Oven stopped working - dux_training.jpg

I have reset the clock the oven sounds as though it's working for just 2 seconds and then stops. The light will not come on at all. I have cleaned all contact points still no luck .

inverter failure blows safety fuse internally this will power down the oven to prevent further damage new inverter and fuse needed.

Lower oven loss of power

I'd check the control switch first, and the wireing and connections.

My oven is dead - no display, no nothing. Circuit breakers are fine. Turned them off overnight, still nothing on oven this morning. This happened about a year ago but oven came on again ten minutes...

What you need to check is for power at the clock.TURN OFF BREAKER gain access to clock and use volt meter. One the clock will be wires maked L1 & N on those 2 wires when breaker is turned back on their should be 120 vac. IF 120 vac at those 2 wires, replace the clock, if not 120 vac into clock check for burnt/broken wires

Re-set Clock due to power black out

Lucky for you(?) I had to reset our clock for daylight savings and checked here before i found my manual. If you're still looking for an answer, press the + & - buttons at the same time, let go and you have 4 seconds to press the + key again to set the time

Dacor ECS230 Wall Oven Control Panel Time functions not working

Try turning the power off at the breaker for 12 hours.

I had the same problem, tried turning the power off for a few minutes but that did not fix the problem.

Leaving the power off overnight seems to have fixed it.
