Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.

Help fixing a kitchenaid microwave oven/hood combo door handle

The door handles on most appliances, like outside cars & truck handles, are secured with screws from inside the door.
You will need to take the door completely apart to tighten the screws. This may be a very hard job, as it needs to be reassembled as well. God bless your efforts.

Need to replace door handle for Kitchenaid over-the-range microwave, Model: KHMS2050SSS - 0

You usually get better search results by leaving off any dashes or spaces in a model number.
Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screw(s) you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

In some cases, you then have to gently rotate the handle to unlock it.

You can find helpful literature and exploded view diagrams with part numbers here and you can order parts from the Pros here.

They don't show the entire door assembly as being available.

But you can replace the outer door frame (outer door panel)part number 8184319.

At $167.94, it's not cheap. But you can get it here.

I think you have solved your problem already.

I have seen your requesty only now and I am sending the diagram to replace handle.

You remove door latch (nr 3 on diagram) first, then you unscrew the screw nr .8 and remove handle (nr.7).

Below the diagram:

Check out this door frame diagram, specifically number 1805. It clips on to the door frame. Remove it using a dull table knife or something similar (be careful not to scratch or break anything). You will then have access to the bottom screw.

Need to Replace Door Handle for KitchenAid Over Range Microwave Hood Combo KHMS147KSS

Chances are the door panels separate as shown in the photo I have attached below. Panel replacement can usually be done without removing the door from the microwave. In cases where it is felt that door removal is necessary, I recommend detaching the door from the hinges. I generally do not advise removing the hinges from the microwave. Whenever the hinges are removed, great care must be taken to put them back in the very same position they were in. Failure to do so can cause microwave leakage, which can cause risk of skin burns, fire, and disruption of nearby electronic devices.
