Power went off now oven wont work. The timer keeps flashing

turn the cooker off and leave it for a while ( mabe 30 mins or so ) it wont reset the clock after a quick on/off

Check for power at the supply terminals, follow it up to the high temp cutout > timer > multifunction switch > thermostat > element

I have a Teka HA830 oven I held the buttons down but it never resets. Would like to know if its possible to change the computer board, and where can i purchase it online?..

Turn the oven control on. Now play with the buttons on the electronic timer/clock. Try all different combinations. Trying pressing them at the same time. This may take 5 minutes or more. If the timer is not faulty this will work, be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on the oven is on and the timer is now in manual mode.

now days the timers ar all solid state , to me sounds like a timer failure or main controll board and timer

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.

to stop the clock area from flashing and for it to display time, the time must be set.

have you tried setting the clock as the oven wont work if the clock is not set. hope this helps

If the display is flashing, it sounds like the timer needs resetting
U need to refer to your instuctions on how to do this..
If it does it again once u have reset it, then I suspect that the oven element has blown..

the oven may be trying to protect itself because of a faulty device that says "I'm too hot". As electric clothes dryers have a thermal high temp limit switch to protect them, look for this device (may be 1 inch round with 2 wires connected) and replace it
