HI it will tell you how to replace the ink film if you buy a new one, it has instructions on the box.

Nope, it's just a big telephone answering machine that prints.

Check the phone line with a regular phone.

Listen for a dial-tone.

I think that you must turn the machine in the phone mode. So, when you want to receive the fax
the only thing that you have to do is to turn it in to fax mode or press the start.

OPEN MACHINE

WITH THE NEW INK FILM IN, ROLL THE INK FILM ON ROLLER NEAREST TO YOU FORWARD UNTIL ALL THE SILVER STRIPS TO THE RIGHT ARE NO LONGER VISIBLE (THIS IS THE BAR CODE ON THE INK ROLL IT'S SELF)

REMOVE INK FILM FROM MACHINE

CLOSE MACHINE

TYPE IN OK 45 OK 7117 OK (THEN IT WILL ASK IF YOU ARE SURE) YES (CHANGE WITH < > BUTTONS BETWEEN OK BUTTON )

SET TIME AND DATE

OK

OPEN MACHINE

PUT INK FILM BACK IN

CLOSE MACHINE

YOUR DONE LOVERLY JUBBERLY !!!
