3 piece front crank set "size" for mongoose xr100

"Size of what? chainwheel, crank length, Bottom bracket spindle length? Not possible to say in any case, as manufacturer specs can change, even in a model year. Take to a bike co-op or bike shop for advice or search online for "replace crankset".

How do I change a Bicycle Peddle arm? what tool do I need how much dose this tool cost?

It's called a crank arm, and the pedal (not peddle) is attached to the end. Usually one uses a crank puller, but as you have not said exactly what model bike you have or provided a close-up picture it's hard to advise you in more detail. Google "remove 3 piece crank arm" for help.

In the future please put as much into proper spelling and details you provide as the effort you expect others to take in answering your questions. Although "dose," "peddle" and "stile" are actual words they are not the same as "does," "pedal" and "style."

How do i fix crank bearings on a mongoose rebel freestyle?

Usually takes special tools. The pedals should be removed, the crankset is either a single arm or a 3 piece unit. If its a single, remove large nut on one side of the crank, usually the left side. Then remove the inside cone, the bearings are visible and should be removed. The last is the crankarm itself. It will only come out if thew left side bear is removed. Twist it gently and it usually comes out at the 3 o'clock position.
If its a 3 piece crankset, special tools are need to remove. SAuggest you take it to the nearest bike shop.

What is the crank bearing size??

Almost all Mongoose models use the standard BSA 68.
I would write a question to them at:
http://mongoosebikes.net/mongoose-bmx-bike/20-mongoose-mode-270-v2-freestyle-bmx-bike/
This bearing should not fail during the normal life of the bicycle, unless the rider weight is over 80 Kg.

I need to know what kind of crankshaft does a mongoose men's melee have?

Ya mean BOTTOM BRACKET? Probably something at the low end of Shimano. They don't publish the minutae for their department store bikes.

You could ask Mongoose directly or take it your Local Bike Shop and have them determine the answer (which is recommended in Mongoose's manual if you want service on a 3-piece crankset anyway).

How do you remove the drivetrain from a mongoose 24in. bike i took of the bolts in front of the pedals and behind and it will not come out is it one or two pieces? it dont know what to do

That would depend on the type of crankset (I think). "Mongoose 24" doesn't really pin it down. A bike shop would be able to show you how to do it and maybe help you accomplish whatever it is your doing.

Or look around here... http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help/categories/crank-service

Special tools ARE required if it's a crank-and-bb setup instead of a one-piece.

I bought a Mongoose Spin, (a Pacific brand) for my son. The bike was advertised as having a three piece crank. The bicycle does not have such a crank, it came with a one piece. It may not seem like much,...

I would suggest going back through the seller and exchange the bike for the one that had the spec you are looking for. They can contact their distributor and take care of things on their end.

The manufacture line ( i work in the industry) will be, that components may change with availability, and that your bike came with an "equivilant value" crank. If you want to return you will need to contact the seller. Pacific Cycle is the parent company for Mongoose and several other brands, while they do manufacture all issues will still be handled on the mongoose side, and if not they will give you the appropriate numbers/ emails of who to contact.

Here is the contact information for Mongoose.

How do i take apart a 3 piece crank on a 26 in mongoose bike

To remove a 3 piece crank system you need several tools, depending on how much of it you want to disassemble the cost could be between $25 and $100+.

I would not recommend removing the cranks unless you have good reason. As there are a number of different types of crank systems, it would be best to take you bike into a local shop and have them tell you what tools you will need to buy to take apart your system. If this is a one time thing, it will be far less expensive to have the shop take apart the system then buy the tools.

I HAVE A MGX MOUNTAIN BIKE. WERE THE PEDAL ARE

im certain that model has a 3 piece crank set up. the inner crank bearing jam nut has loosened up or the bearings themselves have gone bad.first check to see if its tight, if it is then it will require a replacement set of bearing that are a pretty standard size to all bikes and can be purchased at nearly every bike shop.
