Did you find a way to unlock the garmin?

I have the same problem. if you find a way then please let me know I have a garmin nuvi 350 my email is [email protected] I dont have the pin and I am not going to be by my security location?

    Same problem, my son had my Nuvi 360 for the weekend.


    One of his friends for a joke set a pin number and now nobody remembers
    the number or location where set.
    l don't have a receipt for the Gps, because l purchased the Gps from Craigs List.

The only way to unlock a PIN locked Garmin is to enter the correct PIN number or take the unit to the location at which the PIN was set. Your only other option is to return the unit to Garmin.

(Approximately 150 feet from that location)

If you have forgotten your PIN and Security Location please contact Product Support for assistance. Please note Garmin will require a copy of the receipt and there will be a charge to unlock the device as this issue is not covered by the warranty.

You'll have to courier it to Texas to have it unlocked, or else send it in to Garmin to have them reset it. You'll also need to send the original receipt with the unit.

Unless you already made a backup copy, which you can restore back to the Garmin. The only solution is to buy a copy of Mapsource and register it with Garmin. Garmin will supply a unlock code based on the map registration number and the unit serial number.
