reformatting your laptop will solve your problem, if you have your windows xp cd then you can easily fix it..

Fn button for volume in Lenovo g560 don't appear mark of increase or decrease ,, as i install new version of win 7 ,, and same case in brightness

Make sure you Press and Hold the FN key then hit the key that increases or decreases the volume. If the FN key is not held down while you press the volume keys, they will do nothing. The brightness works the same way, you must Press and Hold the FN key then hit the key that controls the brightness.

There is only blank slot given in this laptop and the hardware is not there according to me. I have the same laptop.

My lenovo g560 CAMERA ISNT WORKING

Please make sure you have the necessary drivers installed and the camera is turned on. It is possible that the switch for the camera is a combination on your keyboard (eg Fn+F10).

Just download GParted and boot it from a USB drive. Here is their official site and guide on how to make a bootable USB. After that, you just resize the existing partition and make a new one from the left over space.

LENAVO G560 SOUND DRIVER INSTALLED BUT NOT WORK

HI there first remove the previous audio driver completely. then restart the PC. After that run your audio driver and make sure during setup you select the using operating system. For example if you install XP then select audio driver for XP. Now install it and let me know the result.

I want to install xp sp-2 32 bit on my lenovo g560 already having win7 32 bit can i install win xp ???? i want to format my only c drive and i want to keep both o.s. on my system. please help me.

you will not be able to do that because if you format c: drive you will loose Win 7, you can though, partition the c: drive and then add winxp to the new drive which should be d: drive now by booting from xp disk and choosing to install on d: drive only

Probably you have install the in correct audio drivers.

Hi jbsmukkolo,

The name of the audio driver of G560 is Conexant Audio Driver. You can also download the driver from here. If you wanted to install the driver, please follow the steps below.

1. Go to this link for the audio driver.

2. Go to the Audio section and download the driver that matches your operating system.

3. Save the .exe file to your desktop.

4. After downloading, install the driver then restart your computer.
