I have been looking for the service manual for the Optoma DV10 MovieTime projector to no avail. Has anyone had the opportunity to change a color wheel. I really need help.

Your best bet on getting your hands on a Service Manual would be to contact Optoma themself.
As for changing the colour wheel , it is pretty straight forward if you were able to open up the unit and get to it.
The colourwheel is mounted with three tiny scrws to a bracket in which it sits. And the bracket in it's turn is fastenend to the body of the Projector with two tiny screws.
First unscrew the bracket from the casing of the Projector and then take off the three screws that holds the Colour wheel to the bracket. Replace and do the whole proses again - but obviously just the other way round.
This is really easy to do yourself.

Can u get to the color wheel via the lamp port or do you have to take cover off the projector on the DV10, if so how?
Theres a guide on this on one of the home movie theatre forums and also some colorwheel guide on brit ebay but no color wheel supply that i know of.

Same here, little pieces of what I found out to be my color wheel are rattling around inside the projector.
I ordered the color wheel which was on back order for at least 6 weeks. I took the unit apart, I removed all the broken fragments of the previous color wheel. I successfully changed the color wheel.
The projector is working fine again.
Where do you get the replacement colour wheels from?

I need the service manual optoma projector xe2301 Hello, it is with a component of the power supply burned and can not identify it.
color wheel broke, ordered a new one, replaced it and now the colours are inverted (red is green)
