I accidently switched the video setting on my CAVS DVD-105g karaoke machine to VGA instead of TV. Now, there's no video and no display. I can't even access the SETUP menu to make the changes. I tried hooking up my laptop with VGA cable but no luck. How can correct this problem so that I can view my cdgs? Please HELP! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I also have a cavs player with a tray that sometimes will not open....and I have been playing with it now for a couple weeks....it looks like I might have the thing working after using small drops of baby oil to lubricate the mechanism.....so,take the cover off, if you push on the cassette drawer when you ask it to open, it should open....then you can apply a bit of the baby oil to the workings inside.....also, shut down the power when it is halfway open, makes access to the works much easier ....worth a try....I asked the same question on the cavs site, got no answer

I also have a cavs machine.......when it does this I open the cassette and reinsert, it usually loads....another idea, open the machine, access the laser, you may have to remove a cover over the laser, and clean it.....also, some models have a software glitch.....so when it does this....shut the power off w the remote.....wait a few seconds, power it back up....and let it load the disc......question, does it do this w all discs?
