Everytime i plug in phoneline into modem line goes busy

you will need an adsl in line filter splitter this will split your internet connection and your phone connection i from the phone line into 2 one goes to the modem the other goes to the phone

TRY CALLING YOUR FAX FROM YOUR PHONE.DOES FAX RING,DOES IT SAY RECEIVING IS YOUR PHONE GETTING BUSY SIGNAL. BE SURE PHONELINE IS PLUGGED INTO LINE SLOT ON FAX NOT IN TEL. SLOT IF YOUR FAX GIVES NO INDICATION IT IS BEING CALLED
PLUG A PHONE INTO WALL JACK IF PHONE WORKS YOU COULD HAVE BAED PHONECORD OR MODEM PWB IN FAX IS BAD IF PHONE PLUGGED INTO WALL DOES NOT WORK CALL PHONE CO.

The phone wires run from directly from the telephone company connection to the alarm on the red and green. They return on the other two wires. These wires are hooked to your home phones. That's the UL way to do it. The alarm is supposed to be the first device on the telephone line. You can just run a phone line to the alarm panel. There probably is a diagram inside the cabinet door or a phone jack very near the alarm.

Have you tried by putting splitter?

It is the computer's internal modem. Replace the modem and the problem will be solved.

In the modem there are two link one for the phone and other for the line . In the line link you have to connect the direct phone line and phone link you have get the extent cable, link it and connect it to the phone . try it and porb comes inform to fixya.com

If you have call waiting or another service, make sure you have any codes you need in the dialing prefix. if you have dsl, make sure you have a phone filter on the line coming from the tivo.

Has your phoneline w/ the tivo ever worked? or is this just new?

You can try another phonejack in the house. You can also try a different dialing #. Sometimes they take them down.

If you have a broadband connection, you can use a usb to ethernet adapter and dial in over your network. It's quicker and doesn't tie up your phoneline.

Unfortunately the unit is not a DSL modem. The unit does use phone lines, and can use the same phone number as your DSL Line, however the unit does not act as a DSL modem.
