There is no real orientation to a lock, but if the key has to be inserted with the teeth up and you prefer with the teeth down, just remove the 2 screws holding the halves of the door handles on, and remove the outside one, rotate it 180 degrees, and put it back in again. It should work fine.

I have Innovis 6700D. My problem is the machine stops and the screen flashes " lock down hoop" (when it already is). Then the needle jumps to the side. Are you able to help? Thank you. Veronica

That sounds like it is a safety feature being activated. Quite possibly the machine is not recognizing the hoop is locked down or the hoop is not tight (a malfunction) although it appears to be installed correctly.

I have difficulty locking the deadbolt with the key

If the lock works easily with the door open, the strike plate is not lined up correctly. If it is hard to turn with the door open, loosen all the mounting screws and be sure the inside and outside parts are lined up correctly. Also the latch is marked for correct installation. If upside down, it won't work correctly. All three parts need to line up so check for smooth operation before tightening the screws.

To install:
  1. Insert the ignition lock cylinder through the trim cover in the upper steering column.
  2. Align the lock cylinder retaining tab and the position tab with the slots in the lock housing.
  3. Completely push the lock cylinder into the lock housing.
NOTE Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  10. Disconnect the side impact module-left front connector.
  11. Remove the CPA from the inflatable restraint side impact module-right front connector located under the front passenger seat.
  12. Disconnect the side impact module-right front connector.
NOTE With the fuse removed, the AIR BAG or SIR light will illuminate if the ignition switch is turned ON at any time. This is normal and does not indicate a problem when the system is disarmed.

Arming The SIR System
  1. Be sure the ignition is in the LOCK position.
  2. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module-right front connector located under the front passenger seat.
  3. Install the CPA to the side impact module-right front connector.
  4. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module-left front connector located under the driver seat.

Dead bolt trys to turn in the same direction

Hi.
I think it can be possible that the bolt assembly is installed upside down.
Remove the unit, and refit with the bolt and faceplate the other way up.
Test WITH THE DOOR OPEN. to ensure correct function.

I am not familiar with this lock - but other weiser locksets can suffer the same problem if a deadbolt is installed inverted.
