Remove the battery cover (bottom part of the g-shock). Unclip the battery poistive holder. Replace the battery. If the screen goes off, you need to connect (jump) the 'AC' hole with the pos (+) side of the battery for two seconds using a thin piece of wire in order to reset it. Put the g-shock back together.

Does the g-shock illuminator dw-9052 have the option to light up if you flick your wrist fast...instead of pushing the button ?

I don't think your watch has this sort of option. You can find out yourself by finding CASIO watch manual link in my tips.

I've changed my battery on my casio g-shock dw 003 but the illuminator no longer works! why?

Did the same with my DW-003 and thought I'd broken the Illuminator (and the alarm didn't work). Next battery change was via a shop and the illuminator worked again (as did the alarm). This was just a battery cahnge, rather than a repair job - One of those things, I guess

I need battery for dw9052

I dont recommend changing this battery yourself. Although it screws off easy enough the gasket is easily malformed if it comes out and you should have this watch pressure tested to maintain its water resistant seal. This watch also needs to be cleared or reset once the battery is changed.

If you are going to do it yourself you should consult your owners manual.
