I don't know how to use the self timer on my canon A75...I keep forgetting and it isn't obvious..besides that there isn't anything on the whole thing of how to use the self timer for pictures you want to be in? what is up with that the whole lowdown of how to use camera doesn't say this is how to use the self timer? werid weird more than weird

Press the FUNC/SET button. Use up/down to select Drive Mode (the rectangle, third item from the top). Use left/right to select the desired delay and press FUNC/SET.

I have a Canon PowerShot A2200 - is there a timer so I can be in the picture with friends?

According to the manual there would be a 10 sec timer that can be set for this unit.

How do I use the self-timer on a Canon S2 IS PowerShot?

Press the self-timer button (marked with a one-handed clock) to cycle through the self-timer modes. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button.

How to take a picture with the Canon PowerShot A75 using the self timer?

On the back of the camera there is a button with a clock picture (usually with only one hand). Press this button and watch the screen. You will be given the choice of 2 or 10 seconds.(that varies with camera model). Pick one (usually 10 seconds is better) and push set. Press the shutter button and get in front of the camera...smile.
