I have the solution to your burning problem mate. It isn't a problem with your camera, it's with the dvd-burner.
The dvd burner has an outdated driver. You need to go to Control Panel, and System, then Device Manager. Click on the +plus sign next to Disk Drives and double click on the disk drive device listing. If you now hit the Driver tab, you'll see the Date and Version of the driver. Note this to compare to drivers you might find online.
Now type in the exact device name into google, followed by the word 'driver'. A bit of searching and you should find one. (That is if you haven't already tried just hitting the Update Driver button!)
Install, reboot and try burning the disk then. It should work.

exact same problem as above with same error code after it goes through the entire process
i have the everio gz-mg330 and i am having exactly the same problem ,but with error code ff053005. its driving me potty, and i wish i'd never bought the damned thing .....
The very first DVD I created went perfectly. When trying to create a second copy, the "Authoring" process went fine, but as soon as it switched to "Burning DVD", the process was interrupted and the disc was pushed out. Error code FF030C00 was displayed. I tried this process 4 times, each time with different discs - no success. I then tried the same disc three more times. On the third try, it produced a DVD (my second successful copy). I then contacted JVC technical assistance in Toronto. They advised that I should try the PowerDirector Express Program. I did and I was able to produce two more DVD copies in a total of 6 attempts. The process was interrupted several times ia exactl the same place - after "Authoring" but before teh DVD was burned. There seems to be a common problem with both programs and I am not sure how to proceed. If anyone has any ideas, Please let me know. It would be most appreciated.
