SOURCE: Can't Delete Files From Global MP3 Player with Mac OSX

When moving an item to the trash, it actually is just in a hidden ".Trash" folder on that disk, so no space is actually freed up. Can you try hooking the drive back up and then emptying the trash?

How to see all files from mpman 4 gb fm

Hi bsmberisha..
Try this easy solutions to see what is on your player, if you want to delete some songs then just follow the directions below...

BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To delete songs,files,etc...

Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

I have an MP-cs187 how do I charge it?

I beleive this model of MP3 player are not rechargeable as you require the use of an external battery for it. It takes a AA battery.
You may use AA rechargeable battery but you will require a charger for these.

I need to remove the virus on my music player. i cant transfer or even delete the music files in it...i have tried anti viruses but it keeps coming back... and i can't show the hidden files on it.... help!

Install Ubuntu, a linux operating system, onto your computer or borrow someones that has it. You can then successfully see all hidden files and safely clean all the malicious software off of it. And there is no need to worry about infecting the linux computer as malicious software written for windows will not run or have any effect on a linux computer. Good Luck :)

Cant Format my mp3 player

Not knowing how you saved the files and not knowing how you wrote the CD makes it hard to answer. BUT... I can say that the MPMAN could not read the disk and assumed that the disk needed formated which would lead to great confusion to any following device. I doubt that the device that you wrote the disk on can read it any more either.
Is the device you are using a disk or a USB or a memory card or what?
Sounds like a situation of compatibility between systems which was then confused by double formatting the device.
Start over or even better, using the media of "dad's", try to add the files to that from your device, see if that will work. My guess it won't but you can try.
The mp3 part is compatible, the media isn't.

MPMan MP F35 T6

This player, oddly enough, only works with regular XP/SP1 - probably the only mp3 player in existence that is like that. I think the company's phrasing of the problem is quite humorous:

If you have WindowsXP SP2, we recommend that you go back to Windows XP SP1 before Microsoft solves the problem.
