Hello,

welcome to Fixya.

The issue is likely just the blower and housing drain hose blocked with "dirt" from time & use.

First things first...**turn off the power via the breaker at your home service panel...safety first**

Yes, you will need to take the door panel off ( watch those edges they are VERY sharp ) and unfasten the control panel as well, the screw`s are around the perimeter of the door facing the dishwasher tub opening.

Once you have the panel off, you will then unscrew the round part surrounding the vent fan inside the door ( it turns about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise ) the fan motor assembly can be pulled off the door and cleaned out.

You should now remove the small rubber drain line from the fan to the tub which is routed inside the door panel & clean it out as it too gets plugged hence, not allowing the condensation to run back into the tub to be pumped out so when you open the door it pours onto your floor.

Hope you find that helpful. Let me know how you make out or if you require further assistance.

Thanks for visiting "fixya" for your repair questions. Please take a moment and rate the solution provided here for you.

Good luck.

Macmarkus :)

Change door from left to right opening

Unfortunately, if you double-check me here at the SPECIFICATIONS page of this dryers website link, it does not appear that this door IS interchangeable. I hope for your sake to be wrong but cannot find any information to state otherwise:

220 dryer intermittently tech says dryer ok electritien says wiring 2 dryer ok and breaker ok

This sounds as if the door switch is weak or the actuator is damaged and turning off the dryer before the cycle is complete. Make sure your dryer door closes and latches properly. If it quits mid cycle again press on the door and then press start...DO NOT open the door until you try this. If pressing on the door and pushing start gets a cycle start then I suspect you have a door switch problem. However,,,,, a dirty / cl;ogged vent or an air blockage some where in the vent / dryer air flow ducting can give you intermittent operation also. Make sure you check the outside flapper valve where the vent exits outside the house also. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Leaking from the dryer vent on base of door during wash cycle. I know I have water coming down through the dryer vent in the door. I guess it works like a thermostat in a car and opens when it gets hot,...

Before try to repair, gather the model and serial number from the unit and contact LG support line. There was a recall on early versions of the (energy saving) condensing drying cycle and specifically most of the components in the door.

If the problem is what I described above, this is not a warranty issue but a product defect/recall. Be firm with them, be polite and do not take no for an answer, asking to be "escalated to the phone guy's supervisor:"

Good Luck!

Want to vent dryer from bottom. How do I remove the bottom/side

Unplug the dryer.
Open the dryer door.
Get on your knees and look up.
You will see 2 phillips head screws that must be removed from inside the door cavity.
Remove these screws, then the top of the dryer.
Then remove 2 screws on the right and left inside of the dryer.
Unhook the door wires and remove the front panel.

I have a Splendide 2000 s vented washer and dryer. I started a load and there was water leaking all over my floor from the washer, so I immediately turned it off. Now I'm trying to get those clothes out...

Unplug it. Door latch has thermal delay. Unplug, let cool 3 minutes, open door.
After door is open, you can kill the delay: with door open remove rubber boot to access gap between door & drum, remove door catch from cabinet, glue, break or unwire delay parts & replace all. Do this with safety glasses, the spring holding rubber boot can be a bit jumpy.
Your leak I know nothing of.

Roper dryer res7745pq is taking 2 cycles to dry and vent is clean?

check if the thermostats in rear part of dryer are covered with lint. take power off to dryer and remove back panel you will see 2 or 3 thermostats if there is a lot of lint around them carefully remove lint. if that doesn't solve problem make sure clothes are coming out of washer spun dry enough .. check lint screen on dryer. is the vent clear all the way outside ?, in winter little critters like to set up housekeeping in vents where the temperature warms them up. you can also check if heat is cycling open door to dryer and press the door button, start dryer and observe heater , it will come on then shut down and it should come back on in a minute or two, if it doesn't come back on the cycling thermostat may be at fault

Steam comes out of dryer after cycle and door is opened

Probably has a restricted vent. Go outside with dryer running and check air coming out vent. Should be a good blast...not just a breath. Clean out the vent and make sure it's not kinked. If it vinyl or foil vent, replace it! Also make sure lint screen is cleaned everytime.

Spill into oven vents

The best way to clean the inner glass is to remove the door from the oven. With the door in the broil open position (first stop) pull up for about 2 inches until the hinge brackets are released from their stops. Close the door all you can and lift the door off the hinges. Lay the door on a padded surface and remove the 4 screws on the bottom. The outside glass will now slide out of its rail and you can clean the inside. To install just reverse the process. If you take your time and observe, it's not that bad of a job...Catriver..post back.
