I got a ue code

UE means unbalance error. It means the machine can't balance the clothes in the drum so it won't spin to prevent excessive vibration and damage to the machine.
Usually opening the door and rearranging the clothes helps, or take some out then put onto a rinse and spin. If there is just a few items in then it will struggle to spread them around and balance.

the very first thing you have to do is to open door, put hand inside washer inner tub and move tub up and down to see if there is "play" in the bearings. if inner tub moves your main bearing is bad dragging and forcing the motor controller to think there is a "unbalance" condition. also make sure you clean the water pump screen. take small round door at the lower right side and remove the screen to clean. then put it back and retest washer. if that dont work then you may have a fulty unbalance switch or motor controller.

good luck to you.

Code LL flashing. Will not complete a cycle.

The LL error code is not documented very well.

Can you tell me what point of the Wash Cycle the Cycle Status LED is in when you error out with the LL error code?

I believe it will be in the Spin Cycle of the wash cycle.

You could try a Quick Spin test and see if the wash basket will spin up to 850 RPM with no laundry in the Wash Basket. See Page 14 of the Service Manual and see if the Wash Basket will spin up to 850 RPM.

You could also check the TDS for proper range of motion using the SM or this typed out process.
Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.
It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.

a. Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

b. Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.

c. Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

d. Push tub to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

e. Press Hand Wash.

f. Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

If you fail this test it would be time to remove the machine front cover check if the TDS sensor has fallen of its mounting position between the Tub and the washer frame.

My Maytag Neptune TL FAV6800AW Washing Machine is receiving the dC error code on every load. It sits at 12 minutes remaining and attempts to spin several times before throwing the codes.

Hello zacas6,

dC/uC unbalance errors are caused almost all the time by a Clutch malfunction. Take a look this post and see if you want to DIY the repair. I will help you through the process.

I would also check the Tub Displacement Sensor. This a thru the lid check and you get a feel of how to enter Service Mode.

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.

I have some additional info if you decide to remove the Clutch in the machine if you are going to DIY.

Hello bucknerkim,

Take a look at this post Clutch repair post and see if you can DIY… I will help you. Thank you for posting your model type.

The FAV6800AW/FAV9800AW Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.

Try the TDS check first’ from the Service Manual slightly modified;

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.

You can pump out the excess Tub water with this process from the Service Manual;

I would go to page 16 of the SM lower right hand part of page, Board Output Test and turn on the drain pump in service mode to pump out the tub.

Enter Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

Pressing the Delicates key will lock the lid. Now press the Presoak key the drain pump will turn on. Turn off the drain pump with twith the off button or hit the Presoak key.

Maytag FAV6800AW won't spin. COuld this be the

Hello leaweber,

Yes most times it is a Clutch malfunction . Is the machine failing with “dc” and or “UC” unbalance error codes in spin cycle? If you are you may have a Clutch malfunction or Tub Displacement Sensor failure more likely a Clutch issue.

You can do a quick TDS sensor check thru the lid just follow this from the Service Manual. If you machine will pass the TDS check the next step would be to remove the clutch from the machine and inspect as I describe in this post.

Tub Displacement Sensor check from the SM slightly modified;

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check. This test is done with the washer lid raised see page 19 for the details.

It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.

a. Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

e. Press Hand Wash.

f. Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

If you get these results your TDS sensor should be just fine. Time to look at a clutch repair/replacement. Let me know if you need help…. Rich aka dh1200s

Maytag Neptune FAV6800AW has dc code won't complete spin cycle

Hello julygirlrn,
Take a look at this post and see if you or someone you know has some very basic mechanical skills and can do a clutch replacement or roller clutch bearing re-lube. The dc/UC unbalance errors are a very common failure issue with the FAV6800AW/FAV9800AW clutch.
I have put together a step by step process to perform a clutch replacement process, this repair will get your $1000 machine back in service with a $50 dollar clutch replacement. Worse case you can give the repair person some facts and maybe control cost and speed to repair. I believe you will find you will pay $350 - $400 to have it repaired.
If you pay more than $50 dollars for the clutch you are throwing money away. Clothes Washer Clutch - 25001169
You can try this test just to rule out the TDS as the failure point almost all the time dc/UC unballance errors are related to clutch issues with this machine model.
Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.
It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.
Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”
Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.
Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).
Push tub to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).
Press Hand Wash.
Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). If you get these results your Tub Displacement sensor should be OK and I believe it’s not the component failure producing dc/UC errors in spin cycle. I would remove the clutch for inspection and re-lube. There is a more technical troubleshooting method to check Tub Displacement Sensor in the Troubleshooting guide and Service manual.
We can turn on the drain pump in Service Mode to pump out excess water, let me know if you need help with that. The link I have in this post will send you to the Service Manual on this site in PDF format. I believe a lot of folks toss this $1K machine where a $50 dollar clutch replacement or an even cheaper Oneway roller clutch bearing clean up (if the bearings are rust free) will get the machine back in service.
Post back if you decide to DIY the fix and need help.
Good luck… Rich

My samsung 7kg front loader keeps flashing UE on the error code (spin cycle) and I can't open the door

UE = Unbalance Error

Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry.
If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

How to reset the unbalance switches on mah3000aww

This sounds more like a motor control problem. You need to open the control panel and find the service sheet. This sheet will tell you how to run diagnostics and other tests on the machine.
