Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. UL is
displayed when the machine/motor control detects an off-balance load, and is
steady on while the washer runs a mini-cycle to rebalance the load.
• Display
clears if mini-cycle successfully rebalanced the load.
• If
the mini-cycle is unsuccessful, uL will
flash until the door lid is opened, allowing the customer to view and
redistribute the load. Please do rate the solution if the issue is
resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
Hi joepete25. I understand your washer is showing a UL code even when the washer is empty. Run a spin or rinse and spin cycle on the washer. This should help to get out any possible water from the unit, and should remove the UL code. Also make sure the unit is level, as it balances on springs, and it could be sensing that it is not level. I hope these suggestions prove helpful. Sincerely, Melanie, Maytag Social Media Representative.
