How to remove write protection from pendrive?

Is the pendrive is protected in your laptop or in other laptop also? if its protected only with your laptop then follow the following steps.

1. Go to registry, follow the path
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevice Policies
3. There you will find a key "WriteProtect", check the value.
4. If value is '0' then OK, if '1' then make it '0'
5. To change the value, double click at the key "WriteProtect", one manu will pop up. change the value.
