How do I reset my I-pAD back to original factory settings

1. On the Home screen, tap "Settings" to bring up the Settings screen. 2. Tap "General"
3. And then tap "Reset". This brings up the Reset screen which will give you the following options. a. Reset All Settings - this resets all your settings back to factory default but does not erase your content data. b. Erase All Content and Settings - this resets all your settings and erase all your content data. You might want to do a sync with iTunes before performing this erase if you want to keep any music or apps that you have downloaded. c. Reset Network Settings - this deletes your Wi-Fi network settings. d. Reset Keyboard Dictionary - this clears any history in the dictionary such as the history of the keyboard suggestions that you've rejected or accepted previously. e. Reset Home Screen Layout - this simply resets your Home screen icons back to the original default layout. f. Reset Location Warnings - this erases any location preferences that was set for your apps. For example, GPS-aware apps often popup a location warning asking if you want the app to be aware of your current location. Your answers to these questions are stored by your iPad for each app. This reset will erase these answers so that the app may popup the prompt asking for your location permission again the next time you use it.
4. After selecting one of the above options, the iPad will ask for confirmation that you really want to perform the reset. If yes, confirm by tapping "Reset".

Locating satelites

Are you outside, exposed to the GPS signals?

If so, have you tried resetting the unit?

Remove the face cover (GENTLY pry it loose by using the fingernail groove directly under the GARMIN logo), press the RESET button, then re-attach front cover... this is covered in the owners manual, also available online at garmin.com /support /downloads

Resetting Home

I'm not sure I understand the question. When you take the unit outside and turn it on, does it show you in Tampa, or Decatur? If it still shows you in Tampa check the satellite status in the tools menu, you may not be acquiring your current location.

If you're talking about the home location that is saved into your GPS as a waypoint, go into your favorite places list and delete the place named "home" then go to the location you want to save as your new home and press "where to" and then "home". Since there is no home saved, the GPS will ask if you want to save your current location as home. That should do it for you.
