I was loading music to my mp3 sansa after i was done i disconnect the wire from my mp3 all the sudden my mp3 screen saying disconnected and don't kno how to take it off the screen or try to fix it

Well try it charging if does not then connect it with you computer or laptop and if computer does recieve the noticfication that mp3 player is connected then remove it safely do not disconnet wire from the player but first from computer or laptop then try it if gets on.... if doesn't without connected to computer the reconnect with computer and format your player by right clicking on the mp3 drive and chosing format button . Let me tell that there is not much possibilty that it would be working again usually Directly disconnecting gives the memory **** to mp3 player as its not furter connected to stable power supply which would explain that it won't be working or any repaires would help then

This happened to me The way I did it was to let the battery run down and I could reboot it with no problem. This happened to me when I was deleting photos on my Sansa Fuze. It will only take a couple of hours.

Sansa m240 - deleted all songs - tried to install new ones- won't take-says full

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

White Screen

if you disconnect your mp3 player, does the screen still appear white and can you turn it on or off?
i had the same problem, basically it freezes because it is busy downloading music or placing music where it is suppost to be. but if you cannot turn it off after you have unplugged it, you should take off the back cover and take out the battery. place the battery back in, and replace the cover and it should be able to turn back on without a white screen.

Cant get songs to appear on player

Songs that are in the correct format will show up in the music menu when you disconnect the mp3 player from the computer. Songs that are in the wrong format will not show up at all when disconnected from the computer.

Open Windows Media Player and click on the icon of the Sansa to view what the songs that have been loaded onto there.

Not enough space to listen

If it''s any consolation, the same thing happened to me after I loaded about 1.6 GB (~250 MB left) of music on my Sansa m250. I tried to delete the required 8MB, but the directory structure got destroyed to the point where my computer wouldn''t recognize the device. I called their technical support and they''re having me send it back to them for a replacement! It''s not you, but the player! I don''t know if there''s anything that can be done from a consumer standpoint.
