Try this, I had a the same problem as you guys + found this on a web
forum. Quite a frustrating problem to have, It fixes the phone, but
after a while you have to do this over again. I am wishing I never
bought this phone, even though the reviews were really great.
Unplug usb cable from phone
Type *#52828378# into phone
this comes up
1 Trace setting
2 OTA type setting
3 Serial test
4 TFS reset
select 3 serial test
this comes up
1 PPP UP
2 Serial download
3 Run TCK
Select 2 Serial download
Phone will reboot.
Once rebooted, connect usb cable and pc studio will now work.

-OK...when you download the PC Studio software, be sure to save it to your computer first and then open it from your computer, this way if anything goes wrong you can always reinstall it. Alright, make sure the phone is NOT connected via USB during the download of the software. Next, go into your phone menu under 'Settings' then select 'Phone Settings' -go to 'USB Settings, usually there are 2 modes 'Mass Storage' and 'Modem'. Your phone needs to be set to modem in order to serve as a modem, you can use mass storage mode if you just want to sync up your files (pictures, music, etc) with your pc. You'll also want to make sure that your provider has the internet setup for you to use your phone as a modem.
and if you have already installed in prior to reading this, you will need to uninstall the program and begin again with the steps above. I hope this helps.

According to Samsung, neither the m330 nor any CDMA phone works with PC Studio:
"Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package
for the purpose of transferring data between the handset and a personal
computer or for using a Sprint handset as a modem for a personal computer."
Unfortunately,
PC Studio is not compatible with any CDMA handset." So we're out of luck, unless someone has a hack. Anyone?

You have to have Samsung PCStudio installed on your PC/laptop to get the phone recognized when connected in PCStudio mode. Please do that from the CD that came with the phone. If you do not have one then download PCStudio from www.samsungmobile.com.
