I have a MTD blower vacuum model BV3100 and require a new collection bag

There is an adapter to a different type of bag or other.

When the machine is converted to vacuum mode, the collection bag will go on the machine where the blower tube (long part) is connected for blowing mode.

Remove the vacuum tube completely from the bottom of the machine and make sure the impeller cover closes completely. Remove the collection bag off of the blower outlet. Now attatch the blower tube to that outlet on the blower. Done.

The manual says 5 liters to 125 ml so yes if you divide by 5,that is equal to 1liter to 25ml That is a 40:1 ratio.

Remove the vent at the bottom that sucks in air when it is used as a blower and connect the vacuum tube to it there, then remove the blower tube and connect the collection bag to where it was.

Should be available from you local champion store or general garedn tool supplier.

There is a round grille on the bottom of the unit. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the latch to release it and reveal the vacuum opening. You should have a two-piece intake pipe that will attach to the opening.

The collection bag attaches to the smaller outlet where the blower pipe used to be (unscrew the wing nut to release the blower pipe). The bag clips onto the hooks at the base of the opening.
