What about your old browser? Is it working there? If yes, you must uninstall and reinstall your new browser. There might be some error when you installed the new one.

the issue might be a server connection error ..just use another browser like Mozilla or internet explorer for to log into your mail service ..and if you didn't deleted them ..they will be there.. Usually the mail domains ..keep the mails even in the trash folder for about a month ..so even if you deleted them by mistake you will be able to find them on the domain's web page .. OR ..you just need to sign in again ..cause another person remained signed in ..or something like that .. Just time the domain .in the search engine ..for ex..windows live ...or yahoo mail ..or what ever teh domain is..and the log in page will be displayed..Use your identification and password again and log into ..to read the mail .. If you use a mail program ..like Thunderbird ..or outlook ...probably it is a communication with the server problem ..specially if it uses an smtp ..imap ..and not pop server to download teh mails and keep in computer ..
The sign me in for two weeks just means that if you close the browser on the PC you are logged in with then when you revisit the site within a period of two weeks you will not need to enter your password etc. The two week login can be disabled by clicking Sign Out. The sign out heading should be near Hi, (your Yahoo! ID). You might need to do this on the computer you selected "sign me in for two weeks".
1. perform browser reset. tools - internet options - advanced - reset.
2. goto add or remove programs - remove all the tool bars.
3. clear temp and prefetch. start - run - type TEMP . start - run - %temp% . start run - prefetch. delete all these junk listed under these 3 locations.

you cannot sign into more than one yahoo/ gmail /etc simultaneously... you have to sign out from one to log-in into another account. But you can use different browser to log in to various account. I mean, use internet exploer to log-in into your first account. then use firefox /opera/any other browser to log into ur second account.
This can just be due to corrupted temp int files. Clear the temporary internet files or browser cache and cookies on the browser that you are using. Restart the computer and check your yahoo mail again. If no go, note any error that you are getting, or indicate what is happening when you attempt to read your emails.
