Check your DVD player to see what formats can it support and then use a video converter tools to convert the video format first and then save it to your USB. If it can't work, you can burn the video to your DVD disc, which will be more compatible with your DVD player.

The size of the usb device also matters on these dvd players more often than not. If you are using a larger usb device and you have a smaller one try using it with a couple of files and see if that makes a difference.

The Orei DVD-P901 is a 9-inch portable DVD player that can be used to play DVDs from any region. It has a swivel screen that can be rotated 180 degrees, so you can watch movies in either landscape or portrait mode.

To use the player, simply insert a DVD into the disc tray and press the play button.

The player will automatically begin playing the DVD. You can use the on-screen menu to navigate through the DVD's content. To adjust the volume, use the +/- buttons on the side of the player. To fast forward or rewind, press the FF or RW button. To pause the DVD, press the pause button.

I uploaded pictures, songs and videos into 1GB micro SD card. But in Sansa e250 am able to see only songs in it. am unable to view pictures or vidoes stored in SD card. please help me.

The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.

Format a cd

First some explanations:

The Canon DC210 will only take 'minus' format DVDs (DVD-R, DVD-R DL and DVD-RW). Only the DVD-RW must be formatted (initialised) before use. During initialisation you'' be asked whether you want to initialise the disc in VIDO mode or in VR mode.

VIDEO mode: Once finalised discs recorded in VIDEO mode can be played back in most common DVD players, offering the best compatibility. However, recordings cannot be edited (deleted, rearranged etc) on the camcorder.

VR mode: You can easily edit the recordings on the camcorder. However, discs recorded in VR mode can only be played back with DVD players that are compatible with DVD-RW discs in VR mode.

My preference is Video mode - I can then play the disc on a DVD player and edit it on a PC.

Now, to initialise a DVD-RW

1. Press the 'FUNC.' key
2. Use the joystick to select 'MENU' - it's in the bottom left corner of the screen
3. Use the joystick to select 'DISC OPERATIONS'
4. Use the joystick to select 'DISC INITIALIZE'
5. Use the joystick to select either 'VIDEO' or 'VR' mode
6. Use the joystick to select 'YES' to confirm your choice
7. Use the joystick to select 'YES' to start initialising the disc

Close the menu only after the screen display returns to the 'DISC OPERATIONS' menu.

Don't forget to rate this solution once you've tried it !

I could listen to some songs

Prob need to format the player
1. put player in msc mode (settings menu under USB)

2. go to my computer and rightclick on sansa

3. format box: choose quick format

4. format complete, allow player to stay connected to computer for 10 mins

go to sandisk.com and under downloads, download the updater to keep this from happening again, put the updater on your computer so each time you plug it in, it will look for updates

make sure you do not put questionable files on the player such as itunes or mp4, as they will "bad track"

No USB mode in settings / Coverter says no available player

First of all. For the video issue. You may not be putting the vidoes in the right spot, where the player searches for them. Or if you are, in the right format. The e260 comes with a CD which contains a PDF manual and a utility for putting vidoes on the e260. If you arent using the utility that came with the e260 you wont get the vidoes to work because they will either be in the wrong format or spot. As the folder which they are supposed to go into is hidden, you must ask windows or your os to show hidden files/folders to manually insert the videos. As for your USB problem, Turn on the player and press the power button breifly to return the the modesd/welcome screen. Scroll through until you see settings and hit the enter button [The button inbetween the scroller] Then use the blue scroller to scroll down through the entire list until you see a setting called USB Mode. Hit enter again and in most cases select MSC. This should fix your problem. If it doesnt, attempt at updating the frimware of the player.
