LCD screen stopped working

When camera on, LCD screen is blank/white with some vertical moving stripes at bottom. Can not view scene camera is aimed at. What is wrong with it?

Does the camera take good pictures? Have you tried downloading them into a PC? If the pictures look OK on the PC but not on your camera's LCD screen, then the LCD screen is most likely defective.

View screen is white (blank) with internal cracks

Look fo the switch that has two setting. one of them will say LCD and the other Migt EVF if you have a view through your view finder this is your problem.

After removing the power from TV remove the back of the TV (bottom only): Repair: Re-insert PDM connector on both Main Digital module and Drive PWB.
Good Luck, big IRISH. ps. remove cables one at a time and plug back in ensuring that they are seat properly.

Samsung Digital Cam SCD6040 sound problem

I HAVE A SAMSUNG MINI DV DIGITAL CAMCORDER MODEL SC-D353 NTSC.

THE LCD SCREEN IS NOT DISPLAYING. ONLY A WHITE SCREEN WITH VERTICAL STRIPES.

NO PICTURE DISPLAY IN 'CAMERA' MODE OR 'PLAYER' MODE. BUT THE VIEW FINDER IS WORKING.

Vertical lines and purple artifacts when the camera is aimed at bright subjects

Current LCD display technology can reproduce about 300 different levels of brightness. Brightly lit scenes or light sources may exceed this brightness range, causing a temporary disruption (artifacts) in the live display. Artifacts are part of the display, but they are not part of your recorded image. If you take a picture while you see artifacts on the screen and then display the picture on the LCD, you will no longer see the artifacts.
