I have a Miele G2430 and it doesn't drain. I tried the baking soda and vinegar and it doesn't work. Is my pump broken or something? How much will cost to repair it if that's the problem?

Bleach, caustic soda, sink plunger ... depends what clogged it.

Sprinkle baking soda on the surface being cleaned (as long as it is safe to do so). Scrub with a sponge or plastic brush to work in the baking soda. Rinse with clean water and the vinegar smell should disappear.24 Dec 2009

sounds like a plumer probllem.

The dishwasher drain pump or drain hose is partially blocked by either food or a chunk of broken glass or something like that. To remove the blockage you must remove the lower front panel and then you will see where the drain hose leads into a little pump near the floor. Remove the hose clamp and unscrew the little pump from the frame. Check out both the pump and the hose for an obstruction and remove it.
