OK! In your case, the best thing for you now is to go try this pen drive on another computer and go see whether you can do anything, like formatting process, on this pen drive again.
As long as your flash drive is not completely damaged, you get chances to save this flash rive on another computer.
One more thing, do you leave anything important on this flash drive? If you do, before performing formatting process there, go see whether the pen drive data recovery software is possible for you to recover desired data back.
