If there is no aux port on the front(if there is just plug it in and press source till it displays aux) it is in the rear you will need your deck keys to remove the stereo and most likely it is a rca to 3.5mini jack run this cable to your glove box

SOURCE: turn aux on on kenwood kdc-mp205

In order to access the AUX option the stereo needs to be in Standby mode. To do this just hit the SRC or source button until you reach the Standby option. Now hit the menu button and scroll up or down until you reach the AUX on/off option and just turn it on. Hope you find this helpful.

Unless you turned it off, Kenwood radios automatically have the loud turned on when the radio is first powered up.

Selecting the Source

Press the [SRC] Button.

Keep pressing it till you see AUX or AUX EXT

Cant get aux to pop up pluging in my ipod on kdc-mp205
Put the radio in standby by toggeling through the src menu. once the radio is in standby hold the function button until the menu pops up, scroll through the menu till you find the AUX feature, and set it to ON.

CLICK HERE for your owners manual in PDF Format.

There really is no SET UP to get it to work - simply press SOURCE until AUX appears.

Setting up the AUX display is on Page 21 of the manual.

Can not get to aux mode on my stero but used to be able to. brought a cable to collect ipod but can no longer get to the aux mode and have not been able to even before i collected the cable

E-99 and other times time TOC ERROR shows up.
hi TOC error sounds like its the laser is faulty. you could try a cd cleaning disc. this may cure the problem..
