Ok plug the the device into your usb port. Most usb devices have lights letting you know they are working. After plugging it in if your using Windows goto "My Computer" and look for a new Drive letter like when I plug mine in it says NO_NAME(G:) and then I can access the flashdrive just likes its a regular harddrive. Now you can always already have "My Computer" open so you can see the new drive letter pop up. Don't look for (G:) yours can be different but it might also be named something like TravelDrive(F:) thats just an example. I hope this helps you
