I have a T-Mobile Motorola RAZR V3 purchased in the U.S. from an authorized user. Everytime I turn the phone on, I am charged by my carrier in Canada for an outgoing text message (outgoing SMS 453). I know it is something to do with this one particular phone as I have other RAZR V3s that do not have the same problem. I've never sent a text message and would like not to have to pay for turning my phone on and off.

open your phone and theres alittle tiny button all the way up at the top push it in with a needle and see if that works

For the RAZR V3, using AT&T as the carrier, go to the message center, hit the button between the two "soft keys", go to Inbox Setup, MMS Message Setup, then down once, and you can change it from there.

the firmware needs to be reflash on the phone to correct this issue...take the phone to a mobile service center and have them fix it for you.
