Intercom feature I need help fixing the intercom feature on my RCA phones. They used to work.

The phone may have the same extension as another phone in the system. Unplug it from the power and take out the battery for a minute. Then plug it back in. It should take a moment to find other phones on the system and assign itself an extension number.

You may also have a line reversed on that phone. Check to see if line 1 is line 1 on all of the phones. Then line 2, 3 & 4.

Another thing to check is the DSL filter. That phone may need a filter on the line to keep your DSL from interferring. If it has one replace it.

We use an RCA 25415 in our office and can not get the intercom to work, any suggestions?

CANT GET INTERCOM TO WORK
Be sure you are pressing the correct extension key for the phone you are attempting to call. Just press 'intercom' and the key number (from the right side of the phone marked 1-16).

Is one of the 2 phones transformer plugged into a power strip? If so, try putting it directly into the wall, most power strips do not pass the signal properly

Problems with Intercom
Yes, you just need to program those buttons on your phone. Press "feature" then "redial" then press the button you want to program, then press "1" then it's extension # (example: 1-0-0 to program the button for extension 100) then press "feature". After you've programmed those extensions, the intercom should work.

I bought this phone from a second hand store and I bought it for the hold, and intercom feature. I plugged it in and every thing is working fine. one thing that i noticed when you call the phone it picks up and you hear nothing, what can I do will I be able to be use it as a home phone.
