I have a Mitsubishi ductless mini-split AC unit (model MSY-A17NA) and a Mitsubishi Electric remote (type KM07L 0029445). Could you please tell me what some of the mode symbols mean - in particular, the 4-sided box with the arrows, and the 6-sided symbol (snowflake?). Also, does the water drop mode mean that the unit is dehumidifying only, or is it dehumidifying AND cooling. Thanks. Tanya

Depending on many variables such as blower speed, coils clean, indoor/outdoor temps.

thats a problem of filters nothing else

Replace new batteries and check. Switch off ac,remove any dc wire from indoor unit and then re-fix it.Now try. If still problem, repair/replace PCB

ductless mini split units are a very good choice!  they are obviously quieter, more efficient and easier to maintain than window units. the downside is the initial expense of buying the unit, but this is paid back in eletric savings and peace of mind. Good luck Peyton

i have a muti pass ductless in my home and swear by it so much i went to school for them
I am now a mitsubishi cert expert
and cannot sing the praisees high enouhg for the ductless systems

This is normal operation for these styles of minisplits. The thermostat is not in the remote but is located on the return air of the indoor coil, so the air needs to be flowing in order for the thermostat to measure the rooms temperature. Set your fan speed to auto and the fan will slow down when setpoint tempurature is met.
