Are you asking about the fluff or no heat cycle?? It just blows room temp air through your clothes. It would be similar to hanging them outside but with the drum tumbling them. This will of course take much longer to dry than with heat.
Your dryer is called smart dryer and in this case should have to generate familiy code E60 (or any of exactly fault code E61,62,63,64,65,66,67) if blowing cold air, as you explain. Means something is wrong with heating phase (drying).
So, in this case could be: Heater unit faulty; Wiring faulty; NTC sensor faulty/out of position; Electronic board faulty;
Thermostat faulty; and finally fun motor - but considering that it blows cool air I guess that is correct.

Unplug the unit and take the top with the screws holding the lid on. Take a look at all of the wires on the top of the machine. You might notice broken/burnt wires on the safeties that are close to or that directly activate the heating element located in the blower housing located at the top of this washer/dryer condensing unit.
There are two thermostats on my whirlpool model number 857554115010. Both should be replaced at the same time. I found a good video on http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/tumble-dryers I bought the parts from them and it worked.
no make listed here...I would pull the hose off the back of dryer and see if a lot of air is blowing out of vent. if not, heres your answer a clogged filter area ..if air blowing out leave vent hose off and dry clothes with vent off for one cycle. if clothes dry with vent hose off..you have a venting issue and need your vent cleaned out...
This definitely appears to be an air flow problem. Take off the vent and see if it is blowing any air. If air, lots of it, comes out the dryer, the vent is clogged and needs cleared out. If no, or very little air blows out the dryer, the blower wheel could be broken, or there is a serious clog. Check the lint filter and look inside where it goes for anything that might be restricting the air.
You are correct. Pull the dryer out and disconnect your venting from the back of the dryer. Turn your dryer on and check to make sure your dryer is blowing air out of the dryer duct. If it is then leave your dryer out at least 2 ft from the wall and run a load of clothes through the dryer. If it dries your clothes normally then you have a venting restriction. Check to make sure your venting is clean, not kinked or smashed, make sure your outside vent is opening an doesn.t have something blocking it. Check your lint screen filter by running water through it. If water is not flowing through it, you have a build up of fabric softener on your screen, blocking air flow. blower wheels will get loose in dryers. Sometimes they will get a whole lump of lint in them or you can hear a rattling noise in the dryer, this is the blower wheel, its worn out and it can cause the fuse to blow too,or it can half *** work and take fifty forever's to dry the clothes.Or it could be just that the dryer needs a good blowing out .I use a lawn blower to get all the lint out of the dryer as well as the vent pipe and vent to outside. I take the filter HOUSING out and wash it also. That is, I remove the housing and clean is good! Making sure that the dryer is properly flowing air is a good thing!
what type is this electric or gas? have you removed the exsaust from the wall and ran a load like this? if you have heat and this is an electric dryer it sounds like you have a blockage in your house. if the dryer runs fine without the exsaust attached then that is your problem. let me know
Check thermal fuse located behind rear panel mounted on dryer (depending on model of the dryer) duct. Fuse is the component with 2 blue wires and is white in color. Try jumping 2 wires together or OHM out fuse. Fuse being bad is a sign that either
a) Dryer vent is clogged ..... If dryer takes any longer than 1 60 min cycle to dry loads than the vent IS CLOGGED!!
b) Dryer thermostat (next to fuse with 4 wires 2lg red and 2sm)
is not cycling proper
c) some other electrical short causing element not to cycle proper
Check Temp of discharge air with thermometer
on High should cycle on somewhere around 120
and back off at no higher than 170 no less than 155
