How to format a trail camera - Bushnell Trail Sentry 11-9200 Digital Camera

I found this, but perhaps there is no activity at night. Check it at 1:00am, the LEDs should glow.

Camera stops taking images or won't take images

• Please make sure that the SD card is not full. If the card is full (display indicates "FULL", the camera will stop taking images.
• Check the batteries to make sure that they are new alkaline or lithium AA batteries. See note above about short battery life.
• Make sure that the Power/Mode Switch is in the ON position and not set to OFF or AIM.
• Make sure that you are using a good quality SD card in your camera. Tasco recommends SanDisk® SD Cards up to 32GB.
• If the SD card has its write protect switch in the lock position, the camera will not take images.
• If you have used an SD card in another device before inserting it in your Tasco Trail Camera, you might want to try formatting the card using the "Format" option in Setup Mode (pg. 8). Make sure you have backed up any important files first, as formatting will erase all previous files. In some cases, other devices may change the formatting of the SD card so that it will not work properly with the Tasco Trail Camera.

I have the same problem....nobody have a solution ?

If you are using a micro sd card not compatible. If you have deleted pic from another camera has different format file. If still having the issue call Moultire 8006533334 option 1 and 1 for a live person will need the equipment with you to troubleshoot the issue.

Formatting on the computer should give you a better idea of the card's state dice you can verify the space afterwards.

I just bought,last August, a Tasco Digital Trail Camera - 119223C . Took pictures until Jaunary 2011, my camera display shows Loc and the SD Card flashes. The instruction manual does not reference this setup code. Does anyone know what 'Loc' means? I tried to reformat card, I also so not get a Y/N option for formatting. I bought a new card and changed batteries. no change!

Go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

The Bushenell Trail Sentry camera does not allow you to delete pictures from the camera itself. To delete those pictures, you need to take out the SD card from the camera and insert it to an SD card reader. Plug it into your computer's usb port and delete using Windows Explorer or any picture management application.

maybe the deer are turning the the camera off.they are pretty smart .just kidding ,im a minnesota deer hunter,and i have downloaded the manual for this camera,and am currently looking for solutions,as far as formating the card ,you need to know what format first,then using your computer,right click on the card reader in my computer and you should see format,click on that and you should see options for fat 32,ntsc,if it uses other format,may need software,or possibly the camera has the capeability to do it ,still reading the manual,try a test with it in your yard after dark,and monotor it for a couple hours,maybe you will notice something

Do formate to your phone and memory card and re install any programme. This also happend when you install trail programme and trail period is finnished..
