If all of your wiring is right, then that's a protection circuit telling you it's time to have your unit serviced by an authorized service center. Sorry for the bad news.

I hook up my alpine amplifire and the red light for the fuse protection comes. on what could it be?

It is either hooked up wrong or the wire you are using is too thin. Be sure to use the proper gage wire for the output of the amp.

Memphis PR300.2 Amp protect light on

If it is not turning on your problem is it is not getting power. Check your fuses. The reason an amp goes into protect mode is usually because the subs are not wired up right. Make sure your fuses are good, you have a good ground, and make sure your amp turn on wire didn't come loose when you were putting the deck back in. As for the amp going into protect you probably wired the subs down to too few ohms and the amp you have can't handle it. Try hooking the subs up straight w/o bridgeing them and turn it up to see if it works. If you don't have problems with it then you wired your subs wrong.

Protection Light Comes on

Sounds like you have an ohm problem, Tryy hooking the positive from one speaker to the negative on the other speaker. Then hook the negative from the first speaker to the negative on your amp and the positive from the second to the positive on the amp this will drop your ohm load and the amp should stop going into protection.

Audiobahn a8000t problem

If the protect LED is lit, the amp probably has shortedoutput transistors. To eliminate other possible causes, read throughthe following page:

Sony explode amp for my car

Try disconnecting everything but the power connections. If the protection light still comes on, then there's a problem in the amp. If it goes out, then there's a problem elsewhere. In that case, hook up one speaker cable at a time and power on. If the protection light comes on, then either that speaker is bad, or you've got too many speakers connected to that one amp output. Too many speakers connected together can cause an overload and trigger the protection circuitry, or worse, blow out something out.

Hope this helps, and please rate my advice.
Thank you, and good luck!!
