I assume the display is hard to see but otherwise the unit function correctly? I'm going to gear my answer to this issue. If everything on unit functions but just can't see clock and temp. settings, you have a bad display. That's gonna be part #2. I'm not how to upload video but go to youtube and type in Kitchenaid slide in electric control replacement. The top video should give you a good idea on how to change display board out. Good Luck
I am assuming that the computer starts. If you have a black screen it could mean the display is bad or the video card is bad or the backlight is out. Can you get a display using an external monitor? (Remember to switch output using the Fn and special function key combo.) If so, then suspect the LCD screen. If you can see the display but very faintly, then it's the flourescent backlight.

don't turn on the player any more or it damages more! try removing the battery if it's not sealed or it doesn't cause the canceling of the warranty then use u're customer service to repair! anyway there's always a hope to everything
YOU KNOW I THINK THAT THE WATER VAPOR HAS CODUTIVITY TO ELECTRICITY SO MAYBE IT REACH TO PLACE THAT OUT THE DISPLAY FROM FUNCTION
SO JUST WAIT WAIT PUT YOUR INSTRUMENT OUT OF FUNCTION FOR A FEW HOURS TO DRY BY IT SELF THEN RTY AGAIN TO OPERAT I HOPE IT WILL BE GOOD !

This is easy, Press in and hold the function button and the volume dial,.. after the function menu comes up press function again to get to Aux off.. press up to get it to Aux 1 and then press in the volume dial again and youre set!
