Hi, I just bought my tv a week ago. Excited to get it on the TV mounting stand, I tried to screw in the wrong size bolts to secure my Samsung pn42c450b1d plasma tv onto the tv mounting bracket. I took a break because I couldn't get the bolts to go down any further. I came back three hours later to remove the bolts. I noticed that one of the bolts was hot. I then noticed that inside one of the holes in the TV where i tried to screw in the bolt it seemed to be cracked inside. Did I just ruin my tv by trying to screw in the wrong size bolts? What should I do? Please help... i just got my tv and I hope I didn't ruin it. :( Thank you. -Jen

I have found that Home Depot and Lowe's (the bigger hardware stores) do not carry something like this. I alway got to my Local ACE Hardware where they have a whole isle with nothing but screws, nuts, bolts and fasteners. I always find what I am looking for there. So if you have a little hardware store in your area then I suggest trying them. It is alittle more expensive than the bigger guys but always worth it cause you can buy one, Two or 100.

Most of them use metric screw M5 or M6 0.7pitch, you should be able to get them at hardware store for about 25 cents ea.
