I have a Stoves 900G (White) built in oven, on getting up this morning AUTO is flashing and we are unable to get this to stop, therefore cannot use to cook. Stoves suggested powering down for 15 minutes which we did and then clean the 6 buttons. This seemed to work but within 30 seconds it was back flashing with AUTO 0:00.. Any ideas?

Nope - you have a severe short that immediately triggers the breaker. If you have access to the wiring you might try moving all of it away from metal and each other. Some insulation could have come off and ............Since it only happens when you turn on the oven the problem has to be with the oven wiring and parts.
If moving the wiring around and not locating any abnormalities does not resolve the issue then..............................
Your Kenmore oven has a built-in fault detector. When the oven detects an issue, the display screen on the control panel will flash a fault code. The F10 fault code on your Kenmore oven indicates that the thermal protector on your oven's control unit, or microcontroller (MCU), has overheated. If the MCU overheats, the computer stops all motor functions. Several items on your oven could cause the thermal protector to overheat. Therefore, you must troubleshoot the F10 code to determine why it appeared on your display panel.
Instructions
1
Inspect the area around and behind the oven to ensure you did not place the oven next to a source of heat, such as a register vent or other appliance that becomes very hot. If this is the case, you must remove the oven from the heat source to prevent the issue from occurring again.
2
Inspect the oven to ensure all vents on the oven are open and unblocked. This includes heat vents that vent to the outside of the home. Remove any clogs from the oven's venting and check to see if the code reappears.
3
Inspect all of the wiring harnesses that connect to the MCU. Remove the back cover from the control panel with a screwdriver. Look for disconnected harnesses or any harnesses with black residue on them. This indicates an issue with the MCU. Remove the bolts that secure the MCU to the control panel housing and then replace the MCU with a new one. Reconnect all of the harnesses and retest.
The electronic clock/timer must work correctly and be in manual mode for the oven to work. It sounds as if you need to replace the electronic clock. If you do not need the clock function it is fairly easy to bypass the clock altogether and the oven will work no problem.
bad digital control board if tis just a clock and all the settings can be done with a knob and not the board then the replacement wont be too expensive but if that board controls eveything which i suspect it does then its going to be at least 150 more to repair than if it was just a clock display
\i have a stoves 900 GTF double gas oven. The clock has suddenly started to flash. It does not enable me to set the time and therefore I cannot use the main bottom oven. I am unable to overide the auto to manual. Can anyone help me with instructions or with solving this problem. I have mislaid by instruction booklet. Thanks.
A lot of times the problem is with a dirty or a clogged burner. Make sure the burner is clean. If you have a pilotless model, it uses a spark igniter to ignite the gas, which works in a combination with a spark switch (located on the burner gas valve) and a spark module. Because it is not simple to test these parts and find out which one is defective, we recommend to contact a professional appliance technician.
This is how I reset my U1420NOGB/FD7907 NEFF double electric oven that I inherited also without an instruction book.
There are 4 buttons in a row and then a timer knob that moves left and right. The first button is black, second has an arrow,,third has an arrow and fourth a hand symbol on it.Hold down together, the black button and the arrow button next to it.Without releasing either, twist the timer knob clockwise(to the right)until correct time is showing.Do not release the other buttons at all ,until time is ok.If you miss correct time keep going ,dont go backwards. When time is correct,,release black and arrow buttons and auto will stop flashng ,and oven work.If auto doesn,t stop flashing at this point press the button with hand symbol (manual)on it once.
