Go to the Snapper Website, Go to Manuals/Parts lists, enter the model and serial number of the mower. Scan for the proper diagram, copy the belt serial number. Go to a belt specialty retailer, present the belt serial number. They should be able to supply the belt length, and probably the belt.

I would start by cleaning the air filter and the spark plug, or replace both if they are old.
