When turning on my playstation this error 80710092 stopping me being able to play

The 80710092 error means that you have an issue connecting online to the PlayStation Network.
It could be caused by scheduled maintenance or issues with your internet connection
To fix it follow these steps:
1. Turn off your PS3, your router, your modem, etc.
2. Let everything stay turned off for at least one minute.
3. Turn on you router/modem and wait for full power up (about two minutes and after all the lights are back on)
4. Turn on your PS3 and try to access PSN

If the problem persists, check the status of the Playstation Network.

I got the same thing =/ It really sucks because today is my day off of work....

On the PlayStation 3, the error 80710092 can mean that the PlayStation Network is currently down. Try again later.

ERROR CODE (80710092) can mean incorrect password, incorrect user name or bad internet connection check your user name and password and if that doesn't work then disconnect your ps3 from the internet and then reconnect

is this coming up when you try and log into PS Network?

There is a possiblity that someone else using ur internet access was caught hacking, and got your internet service blocked.

Try changing the ISP from your Network Options menu. Change it to something random. And then try your ISP or 127.0.0.1 Hope this helped.

The error codes means you got signed out of PlayStation Network. Probably due to a connection loss.
