First go to my computer then double click the C drive and go to program files. Afterwards look for the folder named Adobe then double click it. Inside the Adobe folder will be folders specifying your Adobe products which you have installed.

If this didn't help you figure out whether or not you have it install then click on the start button located on your taskbar. Then type in the Start
Search bar "Adobe" (without the quote marks). Afterwards all your
installed Adobe products such as your reader will appear.
    Hope this helped, Detailedhelp

I would like to know if Adobe PageMaker is usable with Windows 7.

PM6.5 is very old in software years. Read here http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/328/328682.html about what Adobe says.

Realistically, you should either install PM6.5 on a Win2K PC or move to InDesign.

You can create a virtual WinXP with Win7 using Virtual PC, but for PM6.5 it's unproven and an extemely lengthy work around.

I think you can upgrade to a newer more compatable version ......cut and paste this to go to the upgrade page for more info http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Software&p=Adobe%20PageMaker&v=Adobe&uid=7&l=en&pf=3&pi=1&os=64-bit

Here is the windows system requirements:
Windows
  • Intel® Pentium® processor
  • Microsoft® Windows NT® 4.0 with Service Pack 6, Windows® 2000 Professional with Service Pack 2, Windows XP Professional or Home Edition

I installed adobe 6 professional a few days ago on win 7 computer. but the printer drivers were not installed. i am not able to create pdf documents. also, when i try to download any pdf file from a web...

I am not 100% certain but I am not sure you can use that old a Adobe version with Win 7. The current Adobe Pro for creating .pdf files is now version 9 for Win 7. That may be part of your problem. Consult the Adobe website and see if that older version will even run in Win 7

Installation

Sounds like you have gotten a tangled mess of failed installations.

Go to Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, and uninstall Adobe Flash player if it shows up in the list. Reboot the computer.

This page will help you install it - follow the instructions carefully:
