Most likely the condenser is very dirty and the compressor pull more amps than is suppose to and when this happens the breaker tripps.start by cleaning the condenser with a design conderser cleaner.

My duo therm 13.5 btu rv air conditioner started making a popping sound and dimming the lights like it's trying to cycle to shut off. Well then it started triping the circuit breaker so I changed out the 2...

The best guess is that you have a bad thermostat. When the compressor shuts off it has to stay off for a long enough period of time for the low pressure high pressure to equalize. If it turns the compressor off and back on immediately it can't start against the heavy load created by these unequal pressures. If it will start every time after sitting for 10 minutes the thermostat is making it short cycle.

Unit just stopped working during the evening after having run for 4-5 hours fine. circuit breaker not the problem.

Check your voltage to the unit. Be sure to use a big cord when hooking up your camper. Does the unit have a wall mounted thermostat? Does the blower run? When was it cleaned last?

Circuit breaker overheating on rooftop ac after

Possible overcharge or bad breaker. You need to check the amp draw for the unit. If you draw under full load amps and trips breaker breaker is bad.Rus

Hitachi RAS09UH randomly pops 15A circuit breaker

Two things that you could check: 1) If you have access to an ampmeter, determine if the unit is drawing over over 14 or 15 amps, 2) replace the suspect circuit breaker in case it is beginning to go bad. Breakers only trip for overcurrent conditions or failure of the breaker itself. If it is pulling close to 15 amps, then it could heat up over time and trip.

My duo therm air conditioner works fine in the moning

If the unit has been serviced recently and they added refrigerant to it, then it's possible that they overcharged it causing it to have high head pressure which will increase the amp draw enough on a hot day to trip the breaker. If the unit hasn't been serviced, you might won't to check the condenser coil to see if it's dirty, if its not dirty then check the voltage to the unit, if you're in an RV park when everybody there is running there ACs the voltage may be to low for your unit to run. What fan speed are you running on you may need to run it on high speed during the day.

Air cond works for 10-15 min. then pops circuit breaker.

Start capacitor, fan motor or the compressor is worn out. Most times its start capacitor. Thanks, Sea Breeze
